Chasing Gold is a non-profit organization (501c3), financially partnered with the Edward Charles Foundation. Our mission is to increase access to beach volleyball by constructing safe facilities and offering college scholarships to female athletes.
At Chasing Gold, our vision is to create a world where all young women are supported and empowered to reach their full potential. We believe this can be accomplished through the pursuit of sport. Our goal is to provide opportunities that increase each athlete's confidence and self-esteem, developing the inner tools that lead to a brighter future for all. Your support helps us create opportunities for young girls in underserved areas to play this sport. Join us in making a difference and empowering the next generation of beach volleyball players.
Since the 1980's, there has been a noticeable increase in the likelihood of high school athletes being able to attend a 4-year college compared to their non-athlete counterparts. This trend has been particularly evident among female athletes who participate in collegiate sports.
Beach Volleyball is currently the fastest growing collegiate sport. However, many girls do not have the opportunity to play beach volleyball due to lack of resources. Our goal is to create a pathway for girls to play a sport they normally could not afford to play and train for. These new opportunities to play beach volleyball will act as a driving force, empowering young women to pursue their athletic dreams while they learn how to make meaningful contributions to their local and broader communities.
At Chasing Gold we aim to see non-coastal communities have access to safe playing facilities that cultivate the development of young women, giving them equal opportunities to develop and play. Sports can be a safe space in which young women can cultivate strong identities and hone the skills they need to succeed off the court as well.

Unfortunately by the age of 14 many girls stop participating in sports due to lack of access.
2024: We are currently fundraising to develop an indoor/outdoor facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
We encourage all athletes to reach for the next level. Our scholarships are awarded to upcoming or current collegiate beach volleyball athletes to help ease the load of funding a college education.
Head to our donation page and, when you donate, make a note so we know where those funds should be directed. Choose to give towards funding our college scholarships or our Las Vegas sand court development project.
You can donate whatever amount you’d like, and in return, you’ll have a tax-deductible donation.
